Burialpolesmarkburialstillexisttodayasgravestones,markingthelossofotherhumanlivesthatweresacrificedonbehalfofprosperousnobility.HumansacrificewasoutlawedinSarawakProvinceinthe18thCentury. CombingthroughtheBorneojungleforanswers,eachmemberofDr.Sani’steamexperiencesinexplicablehallucinations,maliciousdisturbancesandeventuallyarehauntedbyunexplainedspiritsofthedead.Thingstakeaturnfortheworsewhenoneofthemiscompletelypossessedbyevilforces.
